Car got broken into

Couple days ago I took my car to a body shop to get the dent in my door fixed. I got it back today and the door looked great except my car had no speakers or radio. Six cars on the lot got broken into and all the radios were taken. the body shop said the would pay to replace everything. This is coming the day after I got my first speeding ticket (55 in the 35). I havin a shitty automotive week.

That sucks bro, in my business that's reffered to as a "dick day" (or week in your case).Sorry to hear of bad luck

c1apton, I love that quote. At least the body shop is paying for you shit, it could be worse and it happen on the street parked.

As for the speeding ticket, maybe you can get it reduced with a lawyer or take a class to lessen the points so that it won't affect your record as much.

just to give u guys an update, my week has gone completely to shit. I just rearended a CRV with the Z3. I was in heavy traffic and someone pulled in front of the Honda and slamed on their brakes, the Honda breaked hard and so did I but the road was wet and I hit the back of the Honda. Please someone kill me.

nope. when I hit him the nose of my car was down, the impact was on the top of my hood and his spare tire that my on the back of his car. I don't think I did any damage which is good bc of thei money/insurance issue.

TJsBimm 01-13-2006 09:26 PM

Ya how's the insurance gonna go on your ride, sounds like the hood took a beating.

witeshark 01-13-2006 10:28 PM

Wow. Well these things do happen and it's minor. I hope it gets fixed soon.

Damn bro, don't let these headaches kick your ass, they're all material and they can be fixed. It always looks shitty when it happens in bunches. Try falling 43 ft and being told you might not walk, that happened to me in '99 and it took 9 months solid in bed, 2+ years in physical rehab and shit looked a whole lot bleeker than hitting some ricer. You got some of the best resources here to give you an uplift - hell, just read the posts on Mr T & Chuck Norris or anything DelMarco has written.

Here's a couple for you:
"Your not allowed to have a bad day(week) - only a moment, then its gone"
"If you're going to count the bad things and let them affect your attitude, try counting all the good things that go "as planned". You'll be amazed at how small the # of bad ones are" :iwave
