Z3 cowl leak?
The carpet on the driver's side footwell on my '00 M Coupe is getting wet, seemingly after continuous rains. There is no heater leaks but, I read somewhere about a cowling gasket. Is it possible that there is a gasket that, if deterorated, could allow water that runs off the windshield to leak into the passenger compartment ? Thanks for the reply to my last post.
The car has drains that allow the water to drain from the roof. On occasion these drains become clogged with leaves or other debris and cause this issue. Their really isn't a fix for it except making sure their clean.
