Z4 M Roadster questions
We just traded in a BMW Z4 M Roadster. I'm trying to better understand the car in order to market it properly. Other than the premium package, what other options were available?
What is the market for the car? What were the volumes imported during 2006?
Are there any problem areas I should be aware of when it comes to the vehicle?

So far, they don't have. They are a great track day car, not a daily driver. They can ride rough, but they are suppose to. No quirks as of yet. They are too new.

Yea, we just got in one of those too. Second in as many weeks.
I see this a lot with Lotuses. People order/ buy the cars thinking that they are GTs (like a Corvette, Mustang or Boxster) and then quickly figure out that they are true sports cars. Suddenly the romantic ideas they had about the cars dissappear and the cars end up being traded in with 1k-3k miles. We had an Exige come in the other week with, no kidding, 70 miles! Of course, I am in Greenwich where things work a little differently. Unlike me, these poeple don't have to think about paying bills, they just want to keep up with the Joneses.

We sell a lot of other things other than Lotus. Often these cars get traded in on MB SLK/ SL, Porsche 911 Cabs, BMW Convertibles, etc. Occasionally we get someone trading in a Boxster for an Exige because they wants something to track.
