Extended Warranty
 

Hey guys! I was wondering if it is worth buying the extended warranty or not. I'm at 46,174 miles:eek . If so I would like to know if anybody knows how much it would cost:dunno to purchase it. Please let me know ASAP:conf .

how many miles will you be driving it each year?

Ahh to work and back is about 55 miles. I only drive it to work and back and on weekends. I really would like to know how much it would cost to buy, and is it worth it.

By the way, just want to confirm something... you are asking about extended warranty right? Not extended maintenance program? Two different things and just want to clarify...

You have to purchase the extended warranties through a dealer and most offer 2-3 different ones. You have to get prices from them

Thanks, But do you know how much it would cost to purchase, the warranty that is similar to the one I got when I first got my car. I dont want to pay for anything accept my mods.

Prices you have to get from THEM. (It's like one of us quoting you insurance rates - we can't)

Sorry, never had one... I thought you could get 3rd party warranties though, but I may be mistaken...

Not sure about the whole "you must ask them!!!!" statement... kinds figured the guy was just after ball park figures from people who had used them?

Yea, it's one of those dealer discrepancy issues. Florida dealers use different extended warranty companies say vs in Texas or elsewhere. (they're basically insurance companies that offer different levels of coverage) Being an insurance co, they must be registered with each state and alot of them only concentrate on certain regions.
