What is there about these jacked up Crossover Station Wagons that makes them more desireable than an AWD Touring.
Curb clearance so you can drive over really high curbs? Off Road is parking it on the driveway to wash it
Most of them have car strength components underneath now. So Off Road would be a test of what bends on the first rocks you come to.

A best example of car/suv hybrid is the 480 HP Porsche Cayanne!
It's a Wagon with an SUV suspension and a Carerra engine!
in comparison BMW fastest car the M5/M6 carries 500 HP.
The X5s only carry a paltry 250-380 HP!

I actually kinda like the new design. Except I'm a little unsure about the headlights. They look mean and agressive, which isn't SUV'ish.
