2001 x5 airconditioning

Lost power to controls for airconditioning/ heater. I replaced the fuse and all was good for a week. Replaced fuse again and all was good again. This time no power to the unit, the control panel doesn't light up- but replacing the fuse didn't work this time. Any ideas?
