i think y'all are going at this wrong.... the article is saying that if your car is modified they have the right to pull you over and inspect your car. they can only give you tickets for thigns that are illegal (tint, exhaust, not passing emissions)
so what would you rather have a ticket for your tint and no cats, or a ticket for your tint no cats and a speeding ticket....

Well if you were speeding, you'd be pulled over regardless.
The news just said that the cops will be especially cracking down from now on.
"They will be working harder at getting illegally modded cars off the street.....Also street races and any sort of illegal activity will be more enforced."

Yup.. California is one retarded state. So who the f*ck passed these laws? I know I never voted for fools that would pass such laws... who voted for them?
