Yup, Alex from bimmerwerkz (AJs320i) and i went to ALMS, Speed challange for free wooot...i must say it was worth the free $40 tickets...haha, actually we were gonna pay but i got free passes, anyyyyway
So the day was pretty awesome lots of fast cars lots of not fast cars...Audi Came, And won as usual in ALMS, that car is insane...Turner FINALLY took over the victory from mazda but man that mazda 6 is freakin insane...it was close i must admit...Turner had the launch advantage with RWD other than that it was damn near a tie... anyway heres a couple pics...the first is a camper that we saw on fire on the way to the track haha FIRE
Heres the final shot of Turner Alex was scrubbin it after a drunkin night at the club and 3 hours of sleep and and i was on no sleep for 24 hours which most of you know for me is normal cause i work graveyards haha Next on our agenda? 3 days at Laguna Seca woot...but thats a little down the road from now...but hey its the last race of the season pssh we have to go
I watched the race on TV. It was a great race between the Bimmer and the Mazda, but I am sure it was far better in person. I still haven't been to infineon even tho I live pretty close. But I have been to Laguna Seca many times and I am going back this year for the Historic Races

ya it was pretty close other than the launch...because of the advantage of the bimmer off the line mazda didnt have much of a chance...both are insanely skilled drivers regardless of their cars ...but man that mazda is freakin impressive...his cornering was equal to the bimmer...it just goes to further my rant about how it doesnt really matter anymore which wheels the power comes from with todays suspension technology...the mazdas had insane late braking abilities and still awesome exit speeds where as the BMW had to brake a lot earlier...man i would have loved to see them run a tighter circuit cause infineons turns are not that difficult...its more long high speed turns...
