U2 - Still Haven't Found WHat I'm Looking For (CAPiTUL Remix)

If you know anybody who can spin this, pleaaaaaaaaase let me know. (this is a bimmer forum but HEY - you never know. it's a small world).

Enjoy the mix (ps. MUCh better than that shitty drum & bass track)

Pretty cool
Used to be a DJ for local clubs here in Jersey, way back in the late 80's/ early 90's. My 1200 MKII's are long gone now, all my 12" singles stored in the basement.

You're originally from NYC right? I plan on keeping most of my vinyl, but if you're ever up my way here, I can throw you the ones I have double copies of, gratis. About 30 or 40 singles, mostly gonna be freestyle and classic house, and some classic disco, don't know how you feel about that . .

I gave most of my gear to a kid who was coming up and had really promising talent, but couldn't afford to buy his own stuff . . wanted to help him out 'coz I remember how it was when I started out. We lost touch some years back after he moved to LA, don't know what became of him. But I did keep the very first TT I bought back in '79, an SL-D2. Not the best choice for spinning, but it's what I could afford at the time, and it's what learned on

Hahaaaa. Yeah, those TT's aren't very sturdy. They don't have a terrible amount of torque, either. At least you have something you can use if you ever want to hear that warm crackle of vinyl! I would DEFINITELY appreciate anything you have, though! I have very open ears when it comes to music. I like it all (except for maybe country - maybe some Johnny Cash, but not too too much). I'm actually going to be in NY sometime this summer. Exact date?? *shrugs* But I would imagine it will be in July. I shall definitely keep you posted. Thanks again!

The mix definitely needs some improving upon. Think that would get people dancing?

I don't know. Sometimes it just sounds too wishy-washy. Too whiny, or something.
