Damage To My Car :-(

Oh yes, point to note here: the radiator now has a leek near the cap. Will try to get a few engine pics, if possible.

The dude threw his car into reverse whilst at a stop sign and rammed into me! I don't want ANY bondo and would prefer they not pull dents out, but rather replace the part entirely.

No, fortunately, I think. If so, that'd up my repair cost tremendously. However, if the impact should've set the bags off, then I have to wonder if it's working properly. I'm guessing, though, that they didn't deploy because the crumple zones weren't pushed in far enough, or the engine didn't shift that much to warrant deployment.

the airbags wouldnt go off b/c the car wasnt in motion, the sensors dont usually sense for impact, just a very sudden change of speed..

hey, if i were you, i wouldnt take it to the dealership, i would just get the $$ from the insurance(if u can) buy the parts urself, and then give it to someone to paint and install, or even install urself and just give it to someone to paint, might save urself a few bux

I'm guessing at LEAST three weeks! What really sucks is I teach, so I was looking forward to using my bimmer this summer. Was gonna get rims, tint, a little system, a quick drop, and some clears. Then drive around this summer. Go to NY, Miami. . . . sighs. . .

wow! man that looks crazy. I would've been in jail right now for kickin the livin shit outa the guy. I'm a bit tempermental in general, so if it was my car, shit would've gone down in a heartbeat. Looks like he has no damage, the upside of owning a big truck. Good luck with the fix.
