turbine followed by internal combustion, right you are hoppy
and craig, rotary engines suck.. seriously, just look at the gas mileage for them, they are really nothing special
dude rotary engines don't suck. Its more about the car and the engine combined than the engine alone. Those systems allow for 50/50 weight distribution (and I believe they are lighter )which makes them awesome in cars used for circuits... talk about sharp cornering capabilities.
About gas mileage, I would def. drive around a H2 if someone gave it to me... well then sell it at some point b/c its sorta useless in town
yea, but considering a 3(dont want to say cylinder, but lets say spark plug) makes HORRIBLE gas mileage, like a hummer for instance, id rather get the big engine with loads of torque and horsepower and get the same gas mileage

actualy that question was more for xperf, but ok. lol
the FD gets the same gas milage as the 8-series. the 850CSI has the same 0-60 time as the FD. but i bet Mr. hypocrite over there(xperf) wouls say he would take an 850CSI anyday. but he just said he wouldnt touch the FD because of the gas milage.
first of all, learn to read, its xSperf.. i dont know why are so blind to see the letter, and its not a typo because you said it twice, crig
anyway crig, of course i would buy an 850CSI.. it really doesnt have all that much to do with speed, youd get the looks, the luxery, the class and style, and the BMW roundel, and a lot more bang for your buck
i didnt say anythign about not touching an FD b/c of gas mileage.. actually, i never even said anything about the car, i just said soemthing about rotary engines in general, so please dont try to put words in my mouth, crig, and dont be such a hypocrite, crig

im not a hyprocrite(i dont hate a car because its slow, but love one that looks somewhat the same thats just as slow(thats what your doing, hating one car because of its MPG, but like another one even tho it gets the same MPG, some times worse) but you did say rotary engines "suck". and the only rotary car that realy "sucks"(because of its reliability and MPG) is the FD. so i asume that you were talking about that, but then again i asumed that you knew the car. and you sure said crig alot. lol. is that just to bug me or what? because i only said xperf twice and that wasnt to bug you. aaannyyway... you said you would take the 8, witch gets the same gas milage as the FD. so why do you crap on the FD's gas milage but not the 8's?
lets continue this with PM's, so we dont bring down the thread anymore.
i never hated on the FD, i didnt even mention it:
secondly, i said i would rather get a car with THE SAME GAS MILEAGE BUT A BIGGER ENGINE b/c usually bigger engines come with more torque and horsepower
the 850 is a V12, the rotary engines are have 3 spark plugs(dont they?) sorry but id rather settle for the V12, and i already said why i would like the 8, even if it was slower id take the 8
