I want a Digital Camera
Okay, what I really want is a Digital SLR, but I don't want to spend a grand, so that is out of the questions.
I guess all I can get is a decent point and shoot : / , maybe one with manual futures(Still shitty but, maybe that will still be cool)
I want something SMALL, something i can put into a pocket, or cargo pocket that wont be a hassel.
IT would be nice to have a bigger screen on the back, nothing small that you cant even see what is going on in the picture.
can you guys recommend something?
dont really want to spend more than 200 bucks, but not sure what i can get for that...
some durable too... something you can bring anywhere and withstand some beating.
I have a Nikon D70 and I spent $800 for it. I know this is out of your price range, but it is a great camera. I also have a Cannon point and shoot carmera and I also like it. Cannon has a new S2 camera which is really nice, big LCD and alot of manual options, I'm not sure of the price though
The sony 5.3 MP 717 is the best camera that you can get for the money right now thats not an slr, they dont make them any more, but they go for 300-400 on ebay.
They take amazing pics, have full manual focus, aperture, and shudder speed.
It doesnt fit in your pocket though. Keeping one in your pocket almost guarantees certain death though theyre really fragile.. my old sony died because it got sand in it from being in my sisters purse.

I have a Fuji Finepix s7000. A great camera which as a bridging camera (halfway between full SLR and highend point and shoot) comes with pretty much all the features you'd find on an SLR (the reason I bought it was I wanted to learn photography properly but couldn't afford a digital SLR). The Macro & super macro can't be surpassed and at 6/12 megapics you can crop to your hearts delight - or print bloody great images!.
