Why didn't he just jump over the fence behind him?? Like step to the side instead of running right in front of it's path. I'm glad he's ok and all that but it seems like he was being stupid.
he ran straight because in situations of extreme stress and adrenaline rush, you don't take the time to think "what's the best way to go?". Your body automatically takes the unobstructed path.
And people always tend to run away in front of objects comning after them instead of just going out of the way.
