Haven't heard from a girl after a date. - United Bimmer Community

Went on a date this morning with a girl. We go to the same college and she needed help registering for classes so I offered to help. We spend about 2 hours doing that together and had a great time enjoying each others company. We're even signed up for one class together, which she seemed excited about. Afterwards we went and ate at a burger joint and spent a good 30 minutes after eating having a conversation. I take her back to her car at her work and we hug and she says "You're going to call me later right?" I said yeah! And you know what I'll drop by your work on the way home tonight. We only work 5 minutes from each other and get off at the same time.

Well this afternoon I've sent her 3 text messages that she hasn't responded to. Either she's playing hard to get or she left her phone at home when she had to go change into her work clothes. At lunch we discussed her schedule the rest of the week and she told me all the free nights she had. I'm hoping this meant she wanted me to ask her out on a second date.

So I'm sitting here thinking why she hasn't gotten in touch! Am I worrying too much?? I guess I'll know at 9:00 PM when I drop by her work.

What do you guys think?!!

chill dude, that's the last thing you need to be doing is waiting by the phone. (it'll make you crazy) She's probably got a full agenda of other shit and is clearing that out before taking you on. - relax dude, she'll return the calls.

I've got a boring job managing a basketball gym. No ones here and I have nothing to do. I know she can text me while being at work because she did it for about 5 hours yesterday. I know there's going to be a harmless reason for her not getting in touch, but I can't help but worry! hahaha

I am sure there is a perfectly good reason involved, good luck with it.

Update: Went by her work and she didn't mention anything about not getting my txt messages, but she seemed stressed and had a horrible headache and was going home to go to bed. So she must have just had a bad day at work. I said I'd call later and she said sounds good so we'll see if anything comes out later!

im in a similar situation. this girl returns my calls eventualy i mean 7 days to text message me back haha. but i go with it. and not be agressive. i just kinda "get back to her when i can" , meaning i ask some one to pick a number 1-7 and wait that many days to respond

If you like her, then be a man and be somewhat aggresive. Call her. If she doesn't answer, then leave a voicemail. Don't fill up her voicemail, though. One message is good. MAYBE two.

Also, how fast do you think these things go? You're already whining after less than a full day?

My girl and I had known each other for two months and very much liked each other for like a whole month before we actually decided we had soemthing between us. Don't rush. Don't panic. Take it easy.

lol...dont be a weiner. play it cool. sounds like you could be coming across as clingy, or if not yet..you will if you keep it up. wait for her, if she is interested she will call!

i dont mind texts...they are casual and you can play around with them. the only problem is they can be more easily misinterpreted
