Got The Job
FCK YEAH! i go the job at tribune grain. yay. $9 an hour with over time. shweet deal. so basicly within the next year here are my plans car wise:
baja bug dailydriver/car to beat on.
chevy pickup. 80's shortbed or a 50's step side.
and after i get the chevy sold(it will be a fix-up-and-sell kinda projects) maybe some sort of bimmer. or maybe i wont get the chevy and just save up for an 8-series.*drools*.
also, its full time so that means no more ub. or atleast very little ub.
i start monday
OT: where the hell can i find videos of some aftermarket exhuast for the 850?
...i love you. i have been looking FOREVER for one of those videos. it just dosnt sound as v12-ish as i thought it would haha. oh well. i will probably stick steight pipes on it. and maybe glasspacks O_o. this is a weekend car, i want it to be LOUD.

well i didnt expect it to sound like a ferrari.. just a little more like a v12 should. oo.. and they are starting to make twin turbo kits for them too(dinan stoped making them long ago). the kits run about 6K and will raise it to 700 HP O_O
craig that dream 850 is going to cost you some "hay" (grain factory right?) so you better have a strict savings plan if you're going to be making $9 an hour - that's not exactly Howard Hughes bucks
well "c-1" dan (the boss) says its about 32K a year with full time. 850's go for about 11-15K on ebay. and yes, i do have a very strict savings plan.
You mean with overtime? Because 9 bucks full time is just under 19k gross.
Either way, do your research, because the 8 series is seriously a money pit. I was considering it last year, and I figured it was gonna be a hell of a lot more operational cost than the E39 I'm eventually gonna get.

Most of the 8 series you find will probably need over a grand in maintenance, plus insurance and paying for gas for an 8 series wont be cheap for your age man, im not saying dont get the car, but its $. And I cant see a brand new turbo kit for 6k giving you that much power. I bet it would be hard to make a turbo kit for an 8 series. They are only just that sorta price for an e36 in most cases..
