RSF5, if anyone knows how to spell dounuts its the cops he also spelled "wit" the correct way

anyway rooz, you should have your gf pay for it, but on a more serious matter i would look into the law, if you dont have enough time and want a hasslefree experience, i would just pay the lawyer 300 bucks and have some peace of mind, i try not to put too much value on money, i mean you'll get that money back in a few weeks, but atleast you've learned a lesson(dont listen to your gf, that is)

Lets analyze this....

"Without due caution".....hmmm are we being cautions at 1am in the morning? Let's see who was out at 1am.....almost nobody probably on a Friday night, well unless it's a college town. So hardly anbody around. As you said, there were only your cars (2 or 3) in a "nice looking parking lot". That paints a picture of a Target, or a strip mall type area. So being cautious.....yes!

Endangering persons or property.....were the people watching close or far away? Could you have hit them? Probably not. If I were watching, I would be close but not that far so that I can be in the "action". Are you close to light poles? Anything else that was "endangering people" (asuming you and your friends?) or personal property? I think the answer is no.

Now that I think about it. Isn't there a law stating that the local PD doesn't have jurisdiction in a private property? I think so. For example: This has happened before. If you get a fender bender in a parking lot of Wal-Mart or Target.....can you have the local police write a report? Nope!

Bingo! I think that's your answer to your problems.

With that....I leave smiling!

But, the obvious thing was....yes, donuts in a parking lot is a not a serious crime, but minor. Nobody was harmed at 1am in the morning. You should get off.

Um I think that they can write a report in that parking lot if someone calls it in. And he was endangering himself and girlfriend and anyone else who may have been in or near the car. Property same thing you get out of control and hit the building.

Just trying to be devil's advocate here, I really think that this is stupid and that you shouldn't get shit because you were obviously trying to do it in a safe way and were causing no harm or possible harm to anyone besides your gf and you. Goodluck Rooz.
