1st offer is in... Should I take it? (OT)
So I had my first call on the bimmer last night. They came over and took it for a ride. Asked questions...
They weren't really in my target market. They could care less about all the aftermarket items I have put into the car or how fun a car it is to work on and toy with. I know most of you probably don't know, but I figured I'd ask. If it was your baby, would you give it away on the first offer? It's only been 4 days since I put it up!
I'm asking $8,500 for the bimmer, and they offered $7,000. I countered with $8,000 right away and they came back to me with $7,500. That's where we left it. I said I would think about it, that it was a good offer, but I needed to sleep on it.
PS here are my pictures on AT.
I am worth $2,022,318 on HumanForSale.com
Sit on it. Get another offer at least. The first lookers may end up wanting the car the more they think about it, so give them time, too. They may be willing to go higher, or you may get something better. I never close with the first offer.
^^ I agree. Also try to sell it to someone whos gonna actually appreciate it for what it is. And whos gonna actually give a shit about what uve put into it.
I would never sell my car to someone who doesnt care about it. I would never sell it to a a guy who plans to give it to his wife/daughter or a woman who just things the color is "pretty". Think about who you want to sell it to.
Thats why i keep all the stock parts i remove. If you throw em back on and sell the aftermarket stuff youll make more money and youll get the same price for the car cause nobody will notice.
But even if some crazy rich guy were to offer me $100,000 for my car cause his daughter wanted it, i would turn it down. I dont want somone like that to drive something i love so much.
Example from work: I work at a mall and we have little kiddy carts/strolers and they retail for $625US each. We had one guy ask if he could buy one because his little 4 year old daughter wanted it. He went and just wrote a check and walked out with it. Its people like that i wouldnt want owning or driving my car, ever.
Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.
