I'd like to think that we are all relatively smart people, most of us successful enough to own a Bimmer, the rest of use with the potential. That leads me to believe that we all have life plans of some sort. share yours

6 years from now (24):
Graduate from law school with honors in the top 5% of the my class
be married
get a high paying job

10 years from now (28):
be a successful lawyer
own a house
own at least two cars with a combined value of at least 70K
have a child
be able to start a trust fund for my child

15 years from now (32):
have another child
have a home with a value of 500k
have three new cars (one being a high end sports car)
have one million in savings
vacation to fiji

20 years from now (38):
have a second house (beach or mountain)
make partner in a top law firm
have college paid for for my children
have new cars
buy an exotic or antique car
own my own business on the side

i see your point, but at the same time, when money is an issue, putting it in your goals isn't neccessarily a bad thing. it could be, but not always

4 years - college. basically just having a good time and enjoying life before i get *cough* old. haha, sorry.

2 years following college - continue penguin studios and build it to a successful and financially supportive corporation.

After that I'll consider getting married if the right girl is around, otherwise i'm content waiting (you get more work done without a wife anyway, lol).

My ultimate ambition is to reach the fortune 100 list.

Many things

I currently am a Senior Account Executive at a $250 million Telecom/Datacom company (I sell T-1's, DS3's, PTP Circuits, Frame Relay, etc.)

On the side, I recently completed my Real Estate course for Licensure.

I also have a few other website projects in the works. I have a brilliant idea in the works that has potential to be as big as ebay, if not bigger.

So I'd better be damn well retired with in 20 years.

Hum, what was involved in the real estate course? How long did it take you to get certified (or are you yet)?

I know someone who's been talking about getting into that for a while.
