Your Ride: Nothing .. for now.
A little remix I did.
Dunno why but I've been in the christmas mood this week and starting around midnight last night I decided, while listening to my favorite christmas song, to remix it.
It's only a light remix, I'm not skilled with Fruity Loops yet but I can work my way around. I took a midi of the piano part and imported it, then timed the Home Alone - Carol of the Bells choir to it and added a little eq tweak/compression.
Remeber the alias. My WoW Priests name is Ravyn and I'm always playing music on vent so I was dubbed DJ Ravyn. I'm keeping it. ;P

I didn't do that. The choir was acapella and I just laid it over the midi tune (later turned harpsicord).
The only method I know of taking voices out of music is very crude. You EQ out everything not in the frequency range of human voice. Forget the exact numbers but I've only tried to do it once .. resulted in failure. You end up having to lay sounds over the old music and it's messy if you don't know exactly what to do.

i have heard of that too. that and trying to cancel out the vocals with opposing frequency (or something like that)
this was awesome! i was all into it, then it ended abruptly! is there an end?
edit: nm, i just had it too low and it sounded like it ended abruptly, but it ended quite nicely. my mistake
This is kinda catchy, though. I like it. Thumbs up.
