so i used that line just now. in a discusion my frien mentioned how "rare" his mustang was ( 40th anivers) and that theyre were only 5700 made. i commented on how thats not rare to me. rare is a BMW 2002 turbo in inca orange ( only 1 ever made)

anyway it got into a convo. me trying to argue a 2002 turbo would beat his 3.8 stang. he starts talking about drag racing

ya but drag racing a bmw is like going fishing with a hooker
sure its fun, but its not what u got it for

he is now trying to tell me its too top heavy and hist 6cyl stang can out turn it.

this is the same kid who SWORE ducattis are pieces of shit and jap bikes are better

tell him if a ford can get a whopping 200 horses out of a 3.8L v6 and BMW can get a mere 347 out of 3.8 liters, then mustangs suck

normaly i would have slaped him ( or in his case headbutt, since iv knocked him down on several occasions with headbutts)

but it was an internet convo. so i couldnt actualy get him.
i asked him if he " honeslty believe the stuff your saying?"
and after that i just took a total dismissive stance. i imformed another friend of ours about the discusion and im sure he will back me up on it next time he talks to him. that how we finaly got him to understand ducattis arnt POS. some people just never learn

he also tried to claim that a bigger engine is always gunna be better. despite what car its in. but i quickly won that . he kinda spoke before he thought on that one.

its gotten to the point i dont like argueing over the internet anymore. and all my time on the internet has hurt my spelling and grammar.

sounds like a kid we went to iraq with.

he swore that everything that was expensive and new was so much better than everything else. he brought a $5000 sager laptop to iraq, swore that the AMG65 was the best car ever, that he had some 4 cylinder watch that was uber expensive, it goes on and on.

guess what happened to him? he went crazy and suicidal, went home early, and got a less than honorable discharge for lying on his contract.

all that from the grandson of a full bird colonel with three stars on his jump wings. right.

first off..if that 3.8 liter is the ford v6 in the V6 stangs...its not fast at all. My 318 with over 140k miles can beat a V6 mustang with under 100k miles.

second..ive kept up with a V8 stang(of course he kicked my ass on straights) in my e30..and i dont think its much less top heavy compared to an 02.

third the kids an idiot. Has he ever rode a Ducati? Or is he just reading Jap mags in the book store and assuming them to be true?

Not that i have rode a ducati..but u have to have some prior knowledge to say things like that.

hes a good kid. hes just really mis informed. hes one of those "well the engines bigger it must be better!" muscle car types.

as for the ducatti part he claims a "friend of a friend has one that always breaks down and so and so's jap bike is way better"

oh well, i always take it with grain of salt (and some times some lemon and tequila)

ducatti bikes might be nicer, but in his drag racing views, I am sure there is a Jap bike that can beat one. On a track, or something I don't know.

At a Driving school I had to take because of my ticket there was an instructor there that raced cars, he said he likes German cars because they "Do more with less", thats a very true statement

in the corners yes. in a straight away i kept up with him but back off at about 70 ( in a 30) figured i already got one 2X speed limit ticket and license suspension. i dont need another. im a better driver than him cause i know when to push and when to back off. he doesnt really.

i dunno about the bikes, yea the jap bikes are really fast, cheap, and pretty cool too(i love em) but its kinda like this, would you rather have a turboed to hell m3 producing 1000HP or a ferrari? see what i mean
