synthetic oil
just wondering if any of you guys know if the grade and weight for synthetic oils is the same as conventional oils.
For example, if I use 5w30 as a conventional oil, would I use the same thing for synthetic? Cause thats what I've been doing, and someone told me there is a difference.

They're the same as long as you see the API specs listed on the bottle. Some aftermarket companies who are not API listed are questionable but name brands will post API/CC specs and they're exactly the same weight(s)
