Going to Europe For vacation. Where to go?

So Im buying airline tickets to Hungary. My friends probably coming along also. My paretns are coming too but im not in any way having to stay with them.

so...I have previsously been to France, Austria, Hungary, Romania and Germany or a very short while.

I want some suggestions from people for places to see. We have 10-15 days..including new years. We dont necessarily want tourist attractions..but culture night life etc. I know in hungary night life is pretty sweet. So any ideas on where to go in Germany for fun, Austria...pretty much anywhere in europe.

I know its going to be very cold. So you dont have to tell me.

as well as a list of places (mostly ww2 battle fields) id want to visit the pass at thermopylae where the greek army fell back to regroup and 300 spartans, forbiden by spartan law to retreat and 700 Thespians who were commited to the spartans out of respect stayed and held off a persian army that is legend to number around 3 million men

moral of the story
1000 dead greeks
up to 50,000 Dead Persians ( including thier supposed "immortal" units)
enough time for the greek army to regroup.

bringing about such immortal words as when a spartan was informed that persian arrows were so many they would blot out the sun
"good, then we can fight in the shade."

sorry theres just something to the concept of 300 guys who wouldnt even have thought of doing anything but fight to the death.
700 guys that voluntarily decided to stay and die
and the rediculous numbers of enemy killed

if you wanna visit a small kickass town, check out Pienza in Italy. its about an hour or less away from Siena. That area is where they have a bunch of nice roads to do Porsche commercials on and stuff. Very relaxing yet fun!

Munich for the BMW Museum, Rome is one of my favourite places, Vatican City, Maranello to see Ferrari, Neuschwanstein in Bavaria. Innsbruck and Swarovski (Wattens). You can go bob-sledding in Patsch.
