Wandering around town - United Bimmer Community

Damn Verizon and their DSL. . . they knocked out my connection since yesterday. This morning I had to go through the bullshit with the repair rep on the phone (who as usual doesn't know shit), making me check this and that, making me reset the modem, yaddi ya. Until I can finally get to the part where she does a line test. Of course, the result is that the line is bad, and she'll have to call the central office to see if they can fix it from there. If not, they have to send a technician out somewhere tomorrow.

Anyhow, I called out sick today again, so I can't be seen by my boss. But I've been wandering around in the car, trying to pull a wireless signal, and the only place I can pick up a signal around here is at my job. So I'm sitting here half a block down, incognito, checking my email and web stuff

hahahah thats awesome. I hope your boss doesnt go for coffee or something and see you. Theres a bunch of wireless networks down by my old high school, but then people wised up and realised people were using the networks and put passwords on em.
