Need some advice , SOMEONE GOOD WITH PAINT

Ok So as I've said in another thread, ltitle spots of clear coat are peeling off. and they've gotten big. and Like for the first time In my life I felt slightly dissapointed in bmw, yes my car is a 93. the paint is great. escept for the roof? and shops keep sayingh I have to SAND all the fucking way down to the metal on the roof, just to replace clear coat.......now. Isnt there another way, I thought u could just sand down the clear coat with some kind of chemical, then replace the clear coat? or is that not possible. dont egt me wrong the bmw engine ROCKS. but.......yeah

i wonder if the dealer would help me out?

Some dealerships actually do that. They'll get the car re-sprayed with clear just to make it shinny
