had a run in with a GS

i went and changed my spark plugs today. when i was done, i put all the tools on the floor of the passenger side. then i went on a test drive.

of course, since i was testing throttle response, i wasnt exactly going slow. i went down the highway, then came back on a main road with lights.

at one of the lights, a lady in a X5 4.4is rolled down her window and politely told me that my passenger door was open. hm, musta not closed it all the way, and didnt check

anyways, i thanked her and we went on our way. there is a serious lack of help like that out there these days.

yeah, i'm pretty sensitive to how my car sounds. if the back window is closed but not sealed, i'll hear it.

btw, any Lexus GS would have taken your e30 anyday.

yes, i know what you mean, but come to think of it, if you saw someone's passanger door open would you take the time to tell him or would you just be like "meh, let someone else do it"... for me, i think if we were at a light or something and stopped, nothing better to do, then id take the time, ive done that af ew times w/ppl with their lights off

well heres a GS story. couple days ago at work soem guy comes in and starts cursing at me over the fat content of the pastrami. i say ok il go get another one. the guy flips out thinking i walked away. and starts cursing more. then when i return, demands that i open t he display package. so i start to and a girl i work with comes and relieves me from having to deal with this guy as im standing there with hell in my eyes, holding a large knife telling him that its the same shit in both packages... well the loud mouth goes and complains about me to the customer relations manager person. who comes over to talk to me about it. after i tell her myside of the story, and how we all think he was drunk. she gets a page to call the customer service area. she does, and finds out another customer wants to talk about the incident. so she goes and talks to that person, who sides with me stating that the other guy was totaly over the line. personaly if i saw the situation i probibly woulda just said "sucks to be that kid" and walked off. but this lady was nice enough to tell the manager what really happend, and saved me from having to deal with it. il be friendly to people, il fake an interest in thier lame storys, il ablige to rediculous request respectfully asked. but i wont be anyones bitch, and i wont be treated liek shit

My friend is a pretty good GS. (Good good samaritan?) Anyway, while at a red light, he noticed the car next to us had its trunk open, so he got out of the car, told the guy, and went around and closed it for him.
