i just saw on cnn today about a lesbian couple who are divorcing and they have to figure out what to do with the little girl.. imagine the life she may have to live and already IS living now.. poor girl!

I agree with xcperf.. Let them live (as if theres another legal choice haha) but dont let them marry.. Not only does it mess up the society, the children, but its just simply put; a completely screwed up way of thinking..

and transsexuals?? oh yeah.. "HEy, my mommy pees standing up all the time!" WTF?? come on! HOw do you stand for something like that?

To each his own.

I'm not going to protest either direction though. I honestly don't feel that strongly enough either way. If they homosexual activitists get recognized, congrats. If not, I won't miss them. Not going to change my life.

I live a very easy going lifestyle on the most part.

Be as gay as you want, but FUCK, the rest of us don't need to know about it. By carrying that piece of paper around with you today, you just made yourself vulnerable to being made fun of.

So don't come on here in 2 days saying you're contemplating suicide because your whole school is making fun of you.

Yes, I am pro sexism because it's fuckin' wrong. End of the fuckin' argument.

shut up. dont try to pull psychobabble crap on me. i dont give a rats ass if some ones gay. leave me alone, il leave you alone. im not changing my life for your sake anymore than youd change your life for mine.

i dont care if your gay. i dont care what you do. leave me alone. "Marriage" is a religious thing its up to them if you get it or not. Your "Plight" is weak, your cause failing. Human kind does not accept those who are different. And I hate to break it to you, but homosexuality isn’t natural. Gays cannot reproduce with out help. With out technology gays are incapable of upholding the the vows of a marriage and still perform THE PURPOSE OF LIFE, reproduction. and if something cant be done with out technology it is UNNATURAL! The only purpose of every living on this planet is to pass on its genetic material. Gays cannot reproduce. With out technology gays cannot do the seragate mother deal while still observe the laws of marriage ( adultery)

if you want to be gay, fine. im not a hater. but dont try to convince me its "ok", acceptable, or natural

P.S. i think you should be silent for another day!

P.P.S. why not extend your vow of silence to typing!

why not extend it for a year.

Calm down Hoppy... haha, it's not that serious.

Let's keep this topic intellectual and respectful in the debate, not heated and pointless.

lol, e-murderers.. haha

btw, just to add on to my last comment

spieluhr: i dont have anything against you, just the way i feel

also:
notice how the US is practically the ONLY country that the gay thing is an issue with? all the other countries either dont have gay people, or the gay people that live in those countries understand that their wrong

(when i say other countries, i mean for the most part, dont come saying THIS country allows it.. blah blah blah, not the point)

here's the thing i don't get....how in hell bush can try to ban gay marriage and then preach separation of church and state. the last i checked, marriage was a religious action with minimal legal ties (taxes and such.) so how can he advocate both? IMO he needs to just drop it, gays have just as much right to the legal benefits of lifelong companionship as heterosexuals do. In fact, i think its more of a punishment to deny them that right than anything else.....on a final note, if "all men are created equal" and the purpose of the constitution and bill of rights is to protect the unanlienable rights of all man, and marriage is provided for, then shouldn't homosexuals be guaranteed the right to marriage as well?

well i could be considered a homophobic, but that's not because i'm insecure. I haven't ventured to think that i might be gay, because being gay is a choice. you aren't born gay. You just need therapy!

hmmmm ....."you just need therapy" i tried telling that to a homosexual once, and i tried to keep my mind open and learned that its not just a choice, more of a self realization. THink about it, how many people wake up one morning and decide "hell, i feel like being discriminated against and loooked down upon and bashed for the rest of my life and be the victim of hate crimes." You show me someone who says they made that as a choice and i'll show you a liar.

EDIT: Not to mention, through my 180 days of torture in AP psych, i have a strong belief that nothing is just a simple choice. Every "choice" you make has a root somewhere in your heritage or the way you were brought up. If you had no bias based on your upbringing, it would not be a choice, for a choice means having to give up one thing for another. Therefore any gay whom makes the "choice" to be gay made that "choice" based on an event or chain of events earlier in his or her life.

well yes i'm not saying that one day they just say, what the hell why not be gay... and i do agree that it has to do with their heritage/ upbringing. that has an effect. i'm just saying that people aren't born destined to be gay. and even if someone has homosexual tendancies, there are things you can do to help those. This is just IMO, i'm no expert and don't claim to be, i haven't spent near as much time on this subject as others.
