you know you own a REAL german car when...
hoppy once said: its not a german car unless the warning label is in german first, english second. well.. most of the labels on my bug arnt even in english  actualy, i dont think any of them are in english!when you have a 4cylinder and still blow away some of the v8 guys.(not my bug, god no! was referring to the e30 m3) when a 70's german car can outhandle a newer corvette (real2002 said that, or what ever his screen name is.) thats all iv got fornow. |

its true. also when the car lacks cup holders. and you have to explain to people as to why it lacks cup holders

^^^ thats why they are such low HP. most VW's for the american market have been made in mexico for years. the old 90 jetta we had was built in mexico. they only model (that i know of) not built there is the passat. thats made in the USA.
