I was doing some research on MIGs(Russianfighter Plane) and MI -24 helicopters.
Interesting,There's a pic of a captured US army Humvee during the Kosovo conflict currently on display at the Kalemegdan Military Museum in Belgrade.
Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.
^^Why it suck? I find this SUV rugged.
I saw a H3(VIP own) the other day with 22 inch rims. It's so cool but expensive.
sorry bout that.
dont know about civilian ones, but i can careless for military ones. ill go out on a limb and say that i dont care for civilian ones either.
they are so slow, and lumbering, the mirrors are near impossible to position, they are so damn wide and the whole thing is basically a huge blindspot. the doors (and so many other basic amenities) are poorly designed (so of this can go to military simplicity, and some of it is just being plain cheap ass, which the govt is all about)
it does good stuff tho, its torquey, 4wd is pretty good (once climbed and went down a sand hill that was probably about a 30 degree grade at virginia beach), the tires are pushed way out to the corners so you can take obstacles.
i could live without em. for street awd performance, i would rather have an E30 325ix
^^^^ i'm going to have to respectfully disagree that hummers rule.
keep in mind that i mean the military, AM General, Hummers, not that POS H2 or H3 or anyone made by GM for that matter. The AM General Hummer is the best serious offroad vehicle. World famous independent suspension, (on the AM General's, not the GM products i.e. H2 and H3) add to that military specs like bulletproof glass, a machine gun turret and armor?!?!? send one my way!! i will never own a SUV, but i will own a Hummer.
with all due respect, of course.

The military H1s are cool hummers, their tough, rugged, made to go off road and through streams and the such. The H2 on the other hand is a luxury car with terrible gas mileage I've seen a video of one of those trying to go off road and it ends with one wheel turned left and one wheel turned right, When I was in Colorado I saw one of those getting towed out of a snowbank by a tow truck, that has to be humiliating having to get your hummer towed. The H3 gets better gas mileage than the H2 like they advertise because it is ridiculously underpowered it has a V6? I think as opposed to the H2's 6.0L V8. I'm a fan of the H1, buy one if you feel like shelling out 2 seanotes to fill up half a tank.
edit: Mullethunter you wouldn't go for a 4.8is X5??!?! I know I would.

the US (and other free countrys) captured many Soviet planes. one of the best tactics, was offering asylum for anyone who brought us one. some people are still willing to risk thier lives for freedom.
civi hmmwv's are not even on the same level as military ones. with the exception of the very first ones when a civi one was a military one with real seats. the H1 is a POS compared to military. the H2 and H3 are just SUV's that you paid extra for. (built on other SUV chassis)
real hmmwv's are built to take land mine hits ( meaning people survive. truck normaly doesnt) along witht he majority of small arms. and despite what the news shows may have told you. they are in no way "un equiped". there are 2 base models. the m998 and the m1114. the m998 is the old "soft" version. and the m114 is the "hard" version.(armor not soft top/ hard top ) the sweet part about miltary ones. they can run on almost any liquid that burns. outta diesel? pour in some gas. outta gas? use jp5!
oh, and if u think the base HMMWV is cool. check out some of the other variants.
Thats a HMMWV with a MK19 automatic grenade launcer on top
as badd ass as the Mi24 (hind D) is, and it is. id rather take a AH1W or the new AH1Z. the hind is more robust and can carry troops. but the cobra ( in its new forms) is more advanced, more reliable and more nimble. as the gunner, if you look at a target, the main gun will turn and point at it. this is due to a fancy helmet
You know your a drunkard if you... Think box wine is great; eagerly awaiting box whiskey.
