CLEC stands for Competitive Local Exchange Carrier. AT&T wholesales out services to other "CLEC's" to re-sell their services or they have peering arrangments to share networks. The only reason I know is b/c I work for a major CLEC on the East caost.
Good luck Montizzle. Work your ass off and move into outside sales as quickly as possible. That's where the real moneys at, plus a VERY flexible schedule. I've been doing it for almost 4 years now
Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.

i know that, SBC/AT&T own almost all of the telephone lines in America. they sell rights to those lines to other companies. i just didn't feel like explaining it, and i've only seen "CLEC" in type a few times...
