New job ftw
startin a new job next month. inside sales at AT&T. starting pay is 28k/year plus comission. office and all. really excited. REAL money for mods lol. this job is a pretty big step up from my current one (shift manager at caribou coffee lolol)

sweet. my dad works at at&t downtown st louis. he manages C-LEX projects or something like that. :dunno

CLEC stands for Competitive Local Exchange Carrier. AT&T wholesales out services to other "CLEC's" to re-sell their services or they have peering arrangments to share networks. The only reason I know is b/c I work for a major CLEC on the East caost.
Good luck Montizzle. Work your ass off and move into outside sales as quickly as possible. That's where the real moneys at, plus a VERY flexible schedule. I've been doing it for almost 4 years now:redspotda

i know that, SBC/AT&T own almost all of the telephone lines in America. they sell rights to those lines to other companies. i just didn't feel like explaining it, and i've only seen "CLEC" in type a few times...
