im too young for this crap
ok so, i officially hate prestige imports...here's my story:
so to weeks ago my insurance broker calls me on the phone and tells me that one of my previous tickets was a major violation (yes, i got a ticket for doing a doughnut, where there was no traffic whatsoever, which i can understand, but a major violation?) and that my insurance was going to shoot up to 369 a month (from 170 a month) so i decided it was time to get rid of the Z4, im too young for it anyways, and yes i had my fun...so this is what i learned...americredit had some sort of a lein on my bimmer when they financed it, so like if i messed any payment up, they would be able to pull the car from me and sell it back to the dealer ship to pay off their loan...and all of the money that the dealer put down on the car ended up being a part of the finance percentage from what americredit told me...wtf? now im confused...so i went into a smaller family-owned volvo/mercedes/bmw dealer and they took my z4, switched the name on the agreement, and i decided to take a 3 day test drive of a nice loaded 2001 volvo S80...yup, the volvo was amazing, not in terms of power really (i did have plenty of power tho) but this car was so damn comfortable, it was a nice change from the Z4...it was smooth and it handled great for a volvo, but i decided not to keep it because it couldnt put a drumset in the back...so he recommended a limited jeep grand cherokee with a 4.7L V8, which i was very very weary about, but he let me drive it for a few days and i liked it...it made me miss my old 1987 gmc suburban (loaded with an effin 454 big ass block)...plus i can put the surfboards and the snowboards atop and still have room for the drumset...so im going to stick with this crazy powerful jeep for a while untill spring rolls around...and dont worry, im not gunna flip it, this thing is super duper cruise machine...ooooo rahhhh
That z4 has just been full of problems for you... maybe it's just better that you got rid of it. However, how much less could the insurance really be on a 4x4 jeep with a V8? I know having 4-wheel drive bumps up insurance alot and the V8 probably has a good amount of power. So how much are you really going to save?
