I would ride more but due to time constraints its between those distances, unfortunatly I dont have 5 hours a day to spend on the bike to do 100 miles. But I am usually good for about 20 a day lately which will take just over an hour.

20 miles in an hr isnt that bad man, I don't have a road bike, so I usuallymtn bike, unless I ride my bros. My new bike is so awesome!
Dudesky if this works I might really try it because I usually cant fall asleep till at least like 1 am so I end up eating again at right about now haha 11:20 pm. So the body cant break it down before I fall asleep I assume.

hows that workin out for ya? right now im trying to drop some poundage before i go on this big huge trip. im starting the eat every three hours thing and also going to start running or go bike riding or something.
That? Oh yeah . . I dropped about 5lbs before I stopped doing it. I had to change things because as I intensified my running and cycling, that diet wasn't conducive to feeding and recovering from the workouts. But it did work for me, albeit weird.
But whatever you do, there's no getting around the golden rule: 1lb of body weight = 3500 calories. Thus, for example, to lose 1lb per week, you must cut your intake by 500 calories per day. Anyhow good luck with your endeavor

Unless if you are riding 20 miles of large and steep hills in one hour.
I'll admit I am a gym rat... I lift every other day, and run on the treadmill every other day. So I am at the gym every day. A good way to burn excess fat is to get some cardio in first thing in the morning before you eat anything. That way your hard work is burning stored fat, and not calories from food you had eaten that day.
