Back in town!

Hey ladies and gents,

I was gone for the last few days to Candler, a small town about 15 mins from Asheville. We had a little cabin in the mountains, a very nice and relaxing place. Pictures to come soon

PS: There is an amazing road up there called "Blueridge Parkway" it would be a great road for a drive

There was an East Coast 8 Fest in 2004 with about 50 8 series in attendance.

On the tour drive the front three guys in an effort to out do each other were running the Blueridge Parkway somewhere above 130 nose to tail in traffic. Then they bragged about it on the main 8 forum.

Now it is really hard to get an 8 Fest event sanctioned if there is even a remote possibility of a Drive where someone could hit speeds like that. I just don't understand why the organizers would feel like that

That sounds like some nice relaxing time away. I love the Mountains in North Carolina, especially Cashiers.
