Any other insomniacs out there?

C'mon guys, i know i can't be the only one who can' sleep for hours after laying down for bed and regularly gets less than 5 hours of sleep a night.

Anyone else an insomniac?

You have three choices, stand behind our troops, grab a gun and toe the line with our troops, or stand in front of them, they can use the extra armor.

Don't keep trying to fall asleep in bed. Turn off everything- TV, PC, radio, etc. If 15 or so min pass by, get up and do something for a while, then try again.

I have to do something to tire me out, thats why i've been picking up things people are giving away. Got a lawn mower, the ride on kind for free the other day, I just need to replace one of the pulleys that doesn't move and mess around with some adjustments, change the belts, etc. I work on it in my garage at night sometimes if I am not out..

My vote went to the last option, which -- I guess -- is the closest to my situation. I am not an insomniac, because I usually can go to sleep when I try. However, I stay up late very often reading, or doing homework, or soem other thing. In fact, I was up all night Saturday, up until 4:00 AM Sunday night, and I pulled another all-nighter last night. But I wasn't trying to fall asleep. In fact, I was trying hard to stay awake.

I picked the alcohol option. Due to work I dont usually have too many problems sleeping, but when i go back to school I will stay up pretty damn late frequently.

This guy I met in college was having a similar problem. His solution: run head first into a wall to make himself pass out. True story.

Usually 4 to 5 hrs a night but i get up early for work at 4:00 am. If i watch tv for a while i get zoned out and sleep on the couch. Beer usually helps my mind relax so i can sleep, not always the best method but works.....my mind is in overdrive all the time so it's hard to calm down and go to sleep unless the GF is over, she has the power to wear me out. lol
