Forum activity / Recent down time
Harry is out of town for a week or so. I know we are having some issues with loading times and stuff like that. From what I understood Harry recently has built a site for a company and they are so many visits that it's causing all the websites that are tied to that same server to lagg so much. SO Harry purchased a new server for that one website and when he gets back he will transfer that website to its dedicated server. In the time being, just hang in there with us please

Good to know. The other day at work I couldn't even load the site. For a few minutes I actually had to do some real work. I am glad that won't be happening again.

is it porn related? i worked at a web development firm and worked on legit projects (including this one http://help.senate.gov/ ) but it wasnt until much later that i found out that there was a whole porn business kept hidden. i mean portals, gateways, pay sites, etc.

Regarding the Recent Server Downtime
Hey guys, Sorry there has been some major downtime and server outages in the past week or so. I'm in the process of purchasing a second server and setting them up in parallel to spread out the recently heightened traffic... but it might be another day or two before I get everything up and running. The server problems are also affecting car-wallpapers.net and BlinkFile.  I'm currently out of the country on vacation, so I'm using satellite internet for $0.75 a minute trying to get things as stable as I can until the new server comes online, and have already spent over $100 on this. So basically, sorry for the problems, but don't get discouraged... I'll get everything back up and running as good as new soon.

Okay, new server is online and I've moved two major websites over to it. And it only took me a few hours on vacation at a dollar a minute, hah. This should stablize the forum and speed things up quite a bit. I'm going to check back later tonight or tomorrow (no phone on a cruise ship), so please post in this thread if you guys see it speed back up or any issues you have. Thanks!
