anyone good with wikipedia?
 

so it turns out my hometown has a page on wiki. the thing about it i want to change is to remove the referance to sixflags in the opening paragraph

im not good with wiki and cant figure out how, if possible, to edit.
personaly i dont care who put that in there, i dont feel its appropriate to make referance to a place that the majority of the residents despise in the first paragraph.

Don't you log in and then click the edit button at the end of the paragraph you want to change?

Don't you need permission to delete anything?

i have an account, and i can try to change it. you just want that line moved somewhere else, or just removed completly?

I'm pretty sure you don't even need an account. I think you just hit the edit button at the bottom and change it.

there is that better

some wiki pages you can edit without an account. some are monitored and having an account helps your credability. otherwise they just track who makes the changes via IP.

thank you dinan. it just pisses me off soem times. especialy at school, when some one asks where im from ( cause they all think i have an accent, since i understand and use the letter R) i say agawam, near springfield and the reply is always "OH! six flags new england!" no. agawam. its a town. i dont live in six flags new england. nor do i go there. i mean imagine if you lived in florida, and everytime some one met you they said " wow do you live in disney land?!" its the same effect to me.

i havnt been to 6 flags since it became 6 flags. it was formerly "Riverside" the name locals still affectionately refer to it as. another thing for me to bitch about is the 6flags website says "springfield MA" wich i also have to explain to people that it is infact in agawam.

maybe some day i shall write a rant about it.
