Doing a Hib Pro, and Changer for better sound on this sucker, we had already done speakers, subs and amp on it in the past...

Here's a basic sub box I designed for a white Evo we did a 12w3V3 in

hummm..... yeah...... some cat in a honda let me put an alarm on this car and he had a home made exhaust I think

I don't like either. No offense. Well, obviously nobody likes the honda one, but as far as the M3 goes... too much weight. M3's should be made lighter if anything... NEVER heavier. And the only sound I'd ever need is the sound of the road and the sound of the engine/exhaust

Screw that I'd die without music in my car. Nothing more fun than driving fast when a fast song comes on.

The stock sound system is more than adequate even with the top down. This guy is going over the top with his system, I find it completely unneccesary.

I'm putting in subwoofers probably next week, but my car is no M3 by any means, I guess it won't affect my handling much, its not a very heavy box.

exactly, but you have to admit that especially in our e36's where the SQ isnt the best stock, a new HU, and especially speakers, really hits the spot!

Ok, looks like I need to give you guys more details then hein....

Customer had purchased that car from someone.

We had previously done, front speakers, rear speakers, custom fiberglass box, two JL 10"'s, by-passed the factory amp and were powering all that from a JL 500/5.

The New owner wanted better sound, meaning better sound "source" than what the factory puts out. On top of that he wanted sat-radio and use another changer + keep steering wheel ctrls, and hardesrt part... he wanted to keep his factory nav + screen.

So we hooked him up with a special piece that gives us the ability to keep nav and add two sources of video to a factory screen.

Then we slapped the new alpine hub pro to it. Gave him a new 6 disk changer, inegrated steering wheel controls and satelite radio.

All in all, he was very happy and it really did sound better because we had a cleaner source of audio feeding the system

And I hate to say this, but the factory sounds "ok" some HK systems sound good, but they are all in all still factory systems. They don't give you too many options nor the ability to upgrade. So yes, factory does give you some audio and such, but they are MANY people out there whom want more than that. That's when we come in play

Here is a cusotmer of our's raodster (well one of his). He's the same guy mentioned in this thread...

http://www.unitedbimmer.com/forums/k...xperience.html

He had bought a pre fabed box for a 6" for us to install in his wife's roadster, but now wanted to move up to an 8" (my installer said he felt like he was building a doll house )

He just bought some SSR GT10's (I think) for both cars... his car is even sicker than his wife's car

The pre-fabed box and the new sub...

Half the box being measured up and tried on...

The car's gonna be done today, but I had to take the day off (needed to take care of some stuff)

But yeah, this customer is one of the people who talked me into getting a new car
