I do have a bum knee, but I never said I couldn't drive manual. In fact, it has been 5 years since I owned a manual, and I missed it. Nothing like making an engine purr and controlling revs.
The shifter on this car is smooth, but sometimes 2nd gear is a bit tough. Other than that, it's hard to use 6th gear unless you are on the highway. But off the line, no one can touch me. It is really fun to tap on it and be gone ....
I drove to work this morning in it, going the back way and it took me 1 hour and 15 minutes. If I take the PA turnpike, it takes about 35 minutes, so we'll see how long that lasts.
I get my insurance bill today, so we'll see if I am keeping her or not. I can afford a HUGE insurance bill...
As for the car itself, it is rare. The color is a dealership color and it is only 1 of about 125 in the country that came from the factory in that color. That's what I love most - it's rare....
