im not really sure... all i know is that between 3 out of the 4 or 5 founding members of this site we had about 14 thousand posts on bmw-forums haha i had nearly 5000 myself, torque with 6400 or so komodo with 3000 and some pretty crazy!

i think that on werkz forums, things arent going down the crapper too badly, i think its just way too much uncontrollable post whoring, and thread hijacking, and everything is being infested by it. too many updates they are trying, and its just clotting everything with polls and opinion on the forum, i think its becoming too cluttered with useless and porn threads.

so lets try and keep the porn down a bit on this site?im no the admin or even mod, so i cant make anything happen, its just a personal suggest, because i know that i hate paruzing the werks lounge now, cuz every f'ing thread is damn NSW or porn thread.

This place on the other hand, is awesome, so much potential, and its like, everyone has the ability to start fresh, meaning, it allows you to keep down the whoring, keep down the swearing, and make things more formal and better looking then just a bunch of "lol, wtf is our problem", cuz then that just takes the thread to a whole new topic.

I like this place, and i hope it stays awesome.

I agree. We're trying to fix all the flaws the other forums have through user suggestions. If you want something here, post it in the Site Feedback forum and if the members agree, it'll happen. lol, an example is this morning I saw a thread full of "I agree's" to make a Car Showroom thread... and now look under General Topics. It exists. :

that is what i like about all the people that founded this place and the early members, we all have a few years of car forum expierence and have been on many boards... by now we should know what works and we know what doesnt...

as for what spiff brought to our attention.. i agree i posted one NWS in the Lounge but it wasnt porn or anything really... it was this dealio where you type in what you want the girls to do.. okay well you guys go look for yourself if you want!
