Guys, as far as i am concerned, somethings are better left alone. Edwin, though i never talked to him or met him, sounded like a normal guy. This is HIS battle, not ours.

Whoa, I've been out of state all day repairing some corporation's crashed Sun Server, but I got a call earlier from Witeshark telling me about this.

Crazy. Edwin's good at getting out of trouble though. I believe he probably did do this (always kinda shady about his business), however I also think (and hope), he has the ability to wiggle his way out of it. Either way though, he'll be back on here. Even with all that's going on, he's probably thought of us already, haha.

Guys, I would hope you dont close this thread for something silly like that. Let us try to be mature adults here.

Having said that - if they did it, they deserve to due the time and I would hope they dont wiggle out of it. if they didn't do it, hopefully they get a fair shake and all is left well.

I've removed the reporter thread, but will leave this thread up and open for people to comment on.

No one has said anything less than full support for him, and there's no reason we shouldn't discuss public information.

i think its ok if we express our support, but it may be better to not discuss the case at all, how did the reporter find out about this site, the UB stickers on his car? the reporter didnt see his car, though, did he?

jr, i dont think anything has been said that will make any difference in his well being. being honest, most of us do not know the guy. if they've been reading the forum, they already know everything that most of us would know about him anyway. they can't just pull stuff off a website and use it against somebody, lest they subpoena the party making the remarks. They had a federal warrant for him on felony charges. They seized his personal property, etc. They already have what they believe is plenty of dirt on him. Nothing that we say is going to make or break his case. It is really that simple.
