They salt the heck out of the roads up there. If it is showing rust enough to need a fender it is nearing it end as you see it.

Born and raised in the rust belt where you look for used cars carrying a magnet to see how much metal is under the pretty paint

You should look for a Sun Belt truck-Texas/Arizona.....

I have seen cabs collapse on the frames in the rust belt if they were not taken care of.
