On my way back from the shop today, I saw this

Notice the crushed up bike under the front bumper of that charger

Damn lady ran over the poor guy

Can we say road kill?

BTW i like the looks of the Dodge Charger. Looks awesome! Too bad they aren't sold here.

Well if he was on the sidewalk that wouldn't have happened. I hate stupid bikers. He deserved it ... sucks for the car though.

All points are good ones but "whitey" has it right - pay attention. Peoples' stupidity whether theirs or yours will mess you up. Most time it's their fault (from the folks in this forum - I can safely say) - best words of wisdom drive defensively: Be prepared for about anything - from IDIOTS on their phones not paying attention, to fossils pulling a last minute lane change in front of you. I'd rather hear your "close calls" in UB forums than read your "obit" in a thread.

I looks like she was turning right and only looked to see if anyone was coming from her left. Some people jsut don't know how to drive.

On a side note, the Oregon State Police just bought a bunch of new Chargers for their new patrol cars. I thought it was an interesting choice.

why should bikers have to stay on the sidewalk? Its so annoying when im biking and I have people honking at me, if those lazy fuckers didn't drive everywhere then they would know how it feels.

That's a good point. Some places the sidewalk isn't any good or even there at all

I remember in the Bronx I saw two people get hit at the same intersection. They both rolled. . . got up. . . picked up the contents of their bags (stores were across the street). . . . and left calmly. I remember people yelling, on both occassions, for them to lay back on the ground! lol

I'm not saying you need to build a sidewalk if it isn't there, but what gets to me (like in that pic) is when there is one, they still opt for the road.

Besides, I've seen so many dumb bikers that I simply want to run one down. Every biker I've ever met says how we (the people in cars) should treat them like other cars ... well fuckin guess what? The bikers don't treat us like cars ... their loss (as we can tell from the wonderful pic).

Obviously you're not a cyclist. In many places, you can get a ticket or citation for riding on the sidewalk
