if you get a ticket and don't go to court you're an idiot. you almost always get a lesser fine and lesser points. the points are especially important, as your insurance company WILL rape you.

I totaled a car when I was 12 so I've been a pretty cautious driver. I got pulled over once for blowing through a stop sign, but just got a warning. Havn't been caught for speeding.

12, I convinced a friend to try and let me drive his Subaru hatchback. It was a gravel private road, I downshifted and broke loose, started swirving, hit the brakes and it got worse until I plowed into a Cherry tree in someones's front yard. I lost a couple teeth and have a little scar on my face, but the other guy covered and my parents didn't find out until I was about 15 and a half that I was the one actually driving.

They attempted to pull me over a dozen times. My E36 325 was no punk car. I actually stopped once due to a bad feeling I was doing 119 in a 55. That was the only speeding ticket I was convicted of..However They have tried giving speeding tickets w/out clocking me...I just laughed at the stupid A%S cop in front of the judge.

Here, if it's less than 10 over, its no points -- check into that. If it gives points however, take driving shcool. 4 hrs are worth it over the insurance rape.

as far as my tickets, one for 70 in 55 (was clocked at 85; nice cop)

yeah ill see if its the same way here. and i dont know if there are any classes like that here. and i was pulled over going about 40, but he said he would wright it for 30 so i wouldnt have to pay too much, real nice cop. he even joked around with me. "did you have your seat belt on when i pulled you over?" "no i didnt" "darn, you should have said you had it on so you wouldnt have to pay for that!"

I have 1 ticket and 1 warning, the ticket did not carry any points because he wrote me for 5 over which is no points on the Freeways in Michigan. But I was going 86 in a 70 according to the guy so he let me off easy.

i've got 3 tickets. lost my lisence for "6 months" had it back in 5 weeks.

best believe i've slowed down though. any ticket over 4pts will pretty much be the judge saying "sit down, bitch" with a backhand to my face .. he knows me personaly by now. \=

I've only got one ticket. It was within the first six months of driving too. Since then a few warnings but luckily no other tickets.
