What's everyones summer plans?

This summer i'm working at the greatest restaurant on the planet, Taco Mac. I can't wait. i'll make hella godly tips there.

At the end of the summer i might be moving up to pittsburgh to take control of the family business. That'll be good too. that'll also be great moeny, and i mean real great money. but thats still in the works, we're still in the middle of a couple lawsuits against two competitors forstealing our customer lists and restraining free trade, but thats another story altogether.

Teg, how does one get to work at these Grand Prix (how do you make that plural?)

doughboyea 05-11-2006 05:44 PM

Chrisdoesntknow, you sure you want to work there? I mean, I'm sure it's your "dream" job and all.... how old are you? Still in HS? What about a job that's more into what your into? I have a friend that's really into Harley's and that's what he's doing now for the time being... working in a Harley dealership. I'm not trying to be a prick about it, I'm just saying that Taco Bell, though cool, I guess, there are better options out there... right?

Summer plans for me... well, for the past several years (since 1998) I've been working at a grocery store year round. Man do I sound like a hippocrite, but anyway, I was finnally able to get a real job that actually counts on my resume. I'll be working at a structural engineeering firm in NJ that offered me $18/hr for part time employment. Beats my $11/hr at the grocery store (that took me eight years to get to, starting at $6.10/hr). So yea... work for the summer.

^dough I believe its Taco Mac not taco bell, and I believe in other posts he has said its an awsome sports bar which is way better than any taco bell.

Red_Rocket 05-11-2006 05:50 PM

witeshark 05-11-2006 06:08 PM

Ah... whoops. Haha, nevermind then. Though the principle is still there. Meaning, if you want to become a lawyer, work in a law office, a doctor, work as an assistant in a chiropractic's office etc...

Fixing my car, working in Driver's at the DMV. It sucks, but the internship comes next summer.

Actually, I need to go take my back dash out so I can spray dye it tommorow. Btw, I already got my headliner, door panels and passenger seat out. I'm loving it.
