tell the truth now. . .

since we have talked about lack of new threads, heres a stupid one:

how long have you been driving a stick, and when was the last time you stalled it?

About a week, stalled three days ago. . .

I have been driving a stick since I was 15 (learning to drive, currently 21 so thats 6 years). I stalled it a bunch my 1st few times. After I was 16 and driving the car more i became much better at driving a stick after a few weeks.

I still ocassionally stall, cause I sometimes jump out with it running and forget to put it in nuetral , but no stalling due to bad driving anymore.

My dads e46s (330ci followed by an M3) had a very different clutch feel and I would ocassionally stall them when I first drove them becuase I was not familiar with the pedal.

about two years, i could drive stick before i had my license.

i stall it once and a while.. mostly because my clutch slips like a biatch

I think the last time i stalled was in the snow, had no traction.

btw, i think i have made this tread before

haha, jk.. but really this is a repost

It's been a while. And with Bimmers we have to key off before a restart Gotta love that additional second's delay

I've been driving stick about 4 years, but I stalled maybe a month ago at a light. I felt like such a douche. I've had my car over two years and this was the first time I stalled it , haha.

I learned standard about 20yrs ago, but have only been driving it consistently in the past 8yrs. I stalled last week . . . coming to a red light, and I spaced out, forgot the car was still in 3rd.

I've been driving stick for about a year now. The last time I stalled was 3 weeks ago when I tried to start off a hill with the car accidentally in 3rd.
