how does this car look?

maybe. i hear they have electrical problems though and i'm not sure the price matches up.

^^^Me too, the E24 is what made me fall in love with BMW's. That one even has the old plastic spoiler intact!

but to drive a classic like that? maybe get it as a restoration project, looks good to begin with, so it should not be too bad

Buy it for 2.5 and keep it as a project, be aware that on any old car like that everything rubber probably needs replacement.. balljoints, bushings, all the rear bushings, coolant stuff, wires, etc.. etc..

Looks like a money pit, but it's cheap. If your willing to work on it every-so-often, I'd say it looks nice. Dough

yeah pretty much anything rubber or plastic will be an issue, but if you are looking for a long term project it is not so bad, but make sure you do a rolling restore, keep it operational and do't try to do it all at once. |
