i think 245's are pretty wide, makes for a nice contact patch tho. mine were just 195's on the stock rims, wanted to get new rims so i could put 205's on them.
I was at a stop sign and these two women, well not really but the crackhead one bent down to look inside i thought she was gonna jump in! So i bolted the fuck out of there fast. But mostly looks from chicks and male minivan drivers.
I get a fair share of folks oogling and complimenting my sedan, though I really prefer to be more incognito like and not noticed. However, I also get a fair number of folks offering me the "thumbs down". Evidentally disapproving of BMW's Chris Bangle and their new E60 5 Series design direction. Have no problem with this though. To each their own, you know??
It's all subjective and in the eye of the beholder anyway. Whats more important is how I feel behind the wheel and as an esteemed owner of an 5th generation 5er. And I have to admit, it's what keeps me smiling ear-to-ear all the time, even more so when I'm out cruising the highways and biways effortlessly and comfortably at speed. Sure everyone can relate similarly with their own beauties!! YES!

BEST REGARDS!
i hate to say this, but when the E60, E65 and E90's all came out, i felt the same way about bangle and his design teams work.
HOWEVER, after seeing them out on the road, my opinion is totally different. i love the E60 and E65 now, and i am starting to like the E90 too. i guess it was just initial shock like the shock a lot of people had when the E36 came out just because it was a bit different. but honestly, it is hard not to like any bimmer!
o, and i loved the E63 from the start! 6's have always been the shiznit!
