other than the way it looks, the viper (GTS or whatever) is just another muscle car. A BMW is refinement at its best. As cookie cutter as a bimmer is, how can a car be filled with such well cut conrners and perfectly fitting trim and accessories that is in all reality a mass produced car. the viper on the other hand is just a motor in a body that is supposed to resemble a....... snake?

The m6 set a Nuerburgring at 8:09.
The m5 8:13
the c6 7:59
The viper gts 8:10.

I ask you to tell me that 1 second on the Nuerburgring means the m6 is faster than the viper. That's easily chocked up to different weather conditions and driver skill. The viper DESTROYS it in the quarter mile and keeps its pace on the Nuerburgring. But then again, the c6 just kills them all.

^^^ PWNED. y'all really don't give the viper enough credit. any time its brought up people say it sucks at anything thats not in a straight line. Not true. thats yur unversal catch all when comparing things to any BMW. Sure its built for the corners, but contray to SOME of y'alls blind beliefs there are cars that own in the corners and on the straights.

and think about whats just been presented to you. the Nuerburgring is ANYTHING but a test of straight away speeds. it gets beat by the M6 by one second, but by my math (which is right) it beat your precious M5 (your metaphorical supermodel to blow your load all over by three seconds. But granted, weather and track temps play a part, but hey we'll never really know.

and i'm going to burn for saying this, but thats okay because its true. the M5 and M6 are prime examples of style speed and finess, the total package, but the dodge viper GTS or any viper for that matter is the most intimidating car on the planet when in comes to looks, stereotypical drivers persona and the sound of the exhaust. and if you doubt me on this, stand behind a viper at idle, at 3000 RPM and 6000RPM and DARE to tell me that the M5 and M6 (in stock condition) are more intimidating.
