questions to the community

so thanks to the obscene gas prices and my cars love of the juice, i'm finally allowed tog et rid of my car. i'm loking at e36's but i'm worried about the age. Are these reliable enough that i could get one (no earlier than '94) and be able to rely on it until i get out of college (three years)?

EDIT: oh yeah and 5spd FTW because slush is teh ghey

it'll be either be a 95-96 325i or is or 97 328is. thats about as much info as i'll give in price range.

any car i buy will have a clear title and be in good condition, i'm just worried about things going bad after i buy it as the car gets older.

definitely. you'll want to buy one that has had the major things replaced already. the bushings are going to go back after 10 years and it's better to have the PO replace them.
