Two BMW's Pulled over at 118 mph on I-5

On our local news tonight, State Patrol in Portland, Oregon spotted a bunch of BMW's speeding down I-5 south bound at well over 100 mph. The State Patrol in Medford, Oregon waited until the BMW's made it to Medford and pulled two of them over. They were both clocked at 118 mph. They were headed to a BMW rally in Southern California. I just thought it was kinda funny, and I would share it with you guys!

They finally posted the story on the local news channel website. Sorry, the orginal cops who spotted them were in Central Point, OR.

Quote:
BMW Speedfest On Oregon I-5

Two Drivers Busted; Others Speed On Through

CENTRAL POINT, Ore. -- Oregon State Troopers say two BMW drivers were going 118 mph when they busted them in Southern Oregon.
The state police say even as they were stopping the two speeders, several other speeding BMWs roared past them along I-5 near Central Point. They were apparently on their way Friday to a BMW rally in Southern California. The two drivers who were cited were 19-year-old Brandon Scriber of Snohomish, Wash. and 27-year-old Ali Moulin of Seattle.

The rest of the speeding BMW’s continued south on I-5, into California.

That's why you run in the middle of teh pack. Cops can't break in to pull you out.
